Return Policy

Eligibility

  • Items may be returned within 15 days of delivery for a refund, less transportation costs.
  • Products must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
  • Returns will not be accepted if items show signs of use, damage, modification, or if the original packaging is missing.
  • Custom or special-order furniture, final sale items, and replacement parts are not eligible for return or refund.

Return Process

  1. Contact our customer service team with your order number to initiate a return.
  2. Returns require written approval before shipping or pickup is arranged.
  3. Returned items must be received at our warehouse within 15 days of delivery.

Fees & Refunds

  • A transportation fee of CAD $298 (CAD $149 for delivery + CAD $149 for pickup) will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you arrange your own return, you are responsible for all shipping costs and associated risks.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection and confirmation that the returned items meet the eligibility requirements.
  • Please allow 3–5 business days for refund processing. Additional bank processing times may apply.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once delivery services have been completed.
  • Returns received late or without authorization may be refused.

Packaging Requirement

  • Please retain the original packaging if you wish to return an item.
  • If the original packaging is missing, a restocking fee will apply.

Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

  • Sofara furniture includes a 10-year warranty on the wooden frame.
  • A 2-year warranty covers all other manufacturing defects from the original date of purchase.
  • This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Coverage includes:
    • Manufacturing defects in workmanship
    • Structural frame defects
    • Upholstery defects, including tears, loose buttons, and stitching issues

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper handling, accidents, fire, flood, or natural disasters.
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading caused by sunlight or heat, cushion softening, or sagging.
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, improper assembly, or the use of unsuitable cleaning products.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact our customer service team within the applicable warranty period.
  2. Provide your proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photographs of the defect.
  3. After review, Sofara may repair or replace the defective component or the entire furniture item at its discretion. In some cases, the product may need to be returned for inspection.
  4. If repair or replacement is not commercially feasible, a store credit may be issued at Sofara's discretion.
  5. All warranty decisions, including the remedy provided, are made solely at Sofara's discretion.
  6. Unless otherwise stated, transportation and shipping costs related to warranty claims are the customer's responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

Sofara is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective furniture as outlined in this policy.


Statutory Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy limits or affects those statutory rights.
